InDesign Plugin handles complex layout, multiple page types, and interactivity without coding.
Media Entities today announced the beta launch of the XMLMaestro AppBuilder module. This InDesign plug-in permits graphic designers to create complex layouts, with variable page-layout types, and running or spread-oriented text without any need for coding.
The tool permits designers to create interactive graphics, text blocks, and enhanced effects. Although the AppBuilder tool targets the hardest challenges of K-12 textbooks, it is equally appropriate for newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and corporate publishing which incorporate complex layouts.
The ME Plug-ins permit designers to layout complex pages, incorporate many different page types, use InDesign library objects, and incorporate enhanced app features such as hotspots, videos, pictures, slideshows, etc.
There is no coding required. InDesign operators can now create apps with the same ease and productivity that they bring to their print page designs.
